Junior boxing is ideal for young people. It has wide appeal to boys and girls, it is both fun and educational and requires minimal equipment and space. There can be no better way of obtaining all round fitness, self discipline, confidence and self belief. It develops strength, speed, stamina, suppleness and co-ordination.
Junior boxing for young people can teach participants to move, punch and master self defense techniques. For some this will be as far as they wish to go, for others this will provide a grounding in the disciplines required to progress into competitive boxing.
Either way it has proved to be a fulfilling and enriching experience for the many young people that have taken part in the classes at the TKO Boxing Gym over the past few years.
