Johnny Eames – BBBofC Licensed Manager & Trainer
Johnny, who is one the UK’s most successful professional boxing manager-coaches, started boxing, at 18 years of age, for Broad Street A.B.C. During his time as an amateur boxer had 45 fights with 20 wins and boxed such luminaries as former W.B.C light heavy Champion Les Stewart and former British and European champion James Cook.
Johnny then spent 18 years as an amateur coach, 12 years with West Ham, along side Micky May and had coached many national amateur champions in this time.
In 2002 Johnny successfully applied for his professional coaching license and has enjoyed an enviable reputation as one of the UK’s top coaches.
During this time Johnny has guided many of his charges to championship success, including producing no less than two World Champions, four British champions, one Commonwealth champion, one English champion and seven Southern Area champions.
In 2012 Johnny was awarded the Sportsmanship award at the Everlast British Boxing Awards dinner at The Novotel Hotel, Hammersmith for his virtually unequaled record of guiding amateur and pro fighters to glory as well as for ceaseless efforts in raising thousands of pounds for the Indee Rose Trust, a charity that provides care packages to youngsters in hospital battling with Brain and Spinal tumors.
Whilst Johnny mainly concentrates on management and coaching of professional boxers signed to the TKO he is also available for personal One-2-One boxing and fitness sessions by arrangement.
